Penelope Cruz was nominated for an oscar for this movie. I am not a fan of hers. Every film I've seen her in, I was just not impressed with her. She's oddly pretty but not beautiful. So I was interested in seeing this film. I enjoyed it. It was a very good film. Cruz was very good in it. but I'm still not a fan though. I don't know what it is but something about her bothers me. 3 1/2 out of 4

i really liked this movie also. i think i like cruz better in spanish films. she looks more relaxed and feels more natural in her native tongue. in english, she seems stiff and exoticized.
