This was an okay film. Funny at certain parts but not a great funny love story. It was a bit corny at certain points. One part that had me laughing was when barrymore's character tries to sing the lyrics she wrote but she sang very softly and grant's character goes," ummm, this song is intended for humans, you may want to sing a bit louder than that.." Something like that. It was funny. 2 out of 4

i liked this movie despite its corniness... i loved hugh grant's dance moves. we imitated them for days afterwards. and that darn song was so catchy...
This movie was pretty funny and amusing. I agree it's not the best, but I love Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore in romantic comedies. It was a bit corny in some parts as hubby rolled his eyes, but it was funny. I especially loved how they made fun of the 80's. I love 80's music!
